LLAC in collaboration with Legal Resources Foundation Trust on 25th of September 2020 held Community sensitization forum in Langata sub county on Chapter Sixteen -Amendment of the Constitution in accordance with article 255,256 or 257 .

LLAC staff and Paralegals took part in a week intensive Paralegals training conducted by Legal Resources Foundation Trust funded by amkeni Wakenya ,UNDP project in Nairobi to build the capacity of the individual Paralegal and organization in developing a strong team of change champions to provide the legal aid required and assistance.

On 31st of August 2020 Langata Legal Aid Centre represented by Executive Director Ms. Judith Adhiambo and Programs Officer Ms. Effie Lwova paid a courtesy call to Kituo Cha Sheria and had a fruitful engagement with Executive Director Dr. Annette Mbogoh . Part of the discussion was to work on partnership between Kituo Cha Sheria and Langata Legal Aid Centre in advancing access to justice programs through Legal Aid Act 2016 and Alternative Justice Systems Policy.

Australia High Commissioner Alison Chartres paid a courtesy call to Langata Legal Aid Centre on 11th April,2018. Alison purposely visited LLAC to learn and to understand LLAC’s role in promoting legal empowerment to the vulnerable groups in Kibera.

On 22nd of June LLAC joined Legal Resources Foundation in the launch of The State of Legal Aid in Nairobi County. The event was presided over by Hon G. Ngenye, Chairperson NCCJR and Flora Bidali, Acting Executive Director NLAS.

Langata Legal Aid Centre on Saturday, 21st July, 2018 held a very successful FREE legal aid clinic in Langata at Mugumoini grounds. LLAC Volunteer Advocates, lawyers and community paralegals offered legal advice to hundreds of clients seeking help on various matters touching on land, labour, housing and evictions as well as child support.
